 Harold Junior Theriault has lived in the Digby area all his life, where he was involved in the commercial fishery for over 35 years. He has been married to his wife Dianne for 37 years. They have five children.
Before entering politics in 2003, Junior was involved in fishery issues and served on many local community organizations.
In 2003, Junior was elected by you, the people as your member of the Nova Scotia House of Assembly representing the riding of Digby – Annapolis for the Liberal Party of Nova Scotia. In 2006 you gave him your voice once again by re-electing him as your MLA. Since then the Liberal Caucus has entrusted Junior with being the Chair of the “Veterans Affairs Committee”, and the Liberal critic for Fisheries, the Emergency Measures Act, Tourism, Culture and Heritage, and Seniors.
Family and community are at the heart of the values that Junior holds dear. Junior is committed to the constituents of Digby-Annapolis. He has brought many concerns to the floor of the legislature and he will continue to do so, on your behalf. |
