Candidate for Cumberland South Liam MacDonald
Born and raised in Oxford, Liam's roots run deep in Cumberland South, where he has been actively involved in several organizations. His early experiences as a member of the Cadets and as a volunteer with his Church helped shape his values of service, discipline, and compassion.
By standing for office, Liam seeks to become the youngest MLA in Canadian provincial history, and to be a strong and effective advocate for Cumberland South. His campaign is built on the principles of affordability, individual liberties, and community-focused leadership.
Liam is excited to be part of Team Churchill. He is inspired by the Liberal Party’s approach to support Nova Scotians through impactful policies, including the plan to reduce the HST, and free public transit.
Affordability and healthcare are at the heart of Liam’s fundamental ideals. He is concerned about the rising cost of living and the erosion of our healthcare system. Liam’s passion for representing his community is driven by the need to address these concerns.
Liam understands that real change comes from listening to the concerns of his community and working tirelessly to address them. He is committed to being a leader who is always available to listen and act on behalf of his community. Having already spoken with many constituents, he understands the immediate need for action.
Liam is determined to bring a fresh perspective to the Legislature, one that focuses on the challenges and opportunities of today while planning for a better tomorrow.
