(Halifax, NS) – Ben Jessome has been acclaimed as the candidate for Hammonds Plains-Lucasville and will officially represent the Nova Scotia Liberal Party in the next provincial election.
Jessome has been representing his community in the Nova Scotia Legislature since being elected as their MLA in 2013 and currently serves as the Minister of the Public Service Commission.

“For over seven years I have had the honour of representing the community I love. We have a lot to be proud of, and I am prepared to continue building on the progress we’ve made as a community – and as a province,” said Jessome. “Now more than ever, I know that the residents of Hammonds Plains-Lucasville deserve a representative who is sympathetic to our needs – and I am committed to building a better, stronger future.”
