Braedon Clark acclaimed as Liberal candidate for Bedford South

Braedon Clark has been acclaimed as the candidate for Bedford South and will represent the Nova Scotia Liberal Party in the next provincial election.

Braedon grew up in Bedford and attended Dalhousie University and Carleton University before working in politics and journalism across the country. He returned to Nova Scotia in 2014 to work as a political assistant to both Minister Lloyd Hines and Minister Mark Furey. Braedon once again calls Bedford home, this time with his wife Caitie, and their two young children, Beau and Heidi.

“I am humbled and honoured to be the Liberal candidate for the new riding of Bedford South,” says Clark. “It is a vibrant, diverse, and growing community with a very bright future. I am thrilled at the chance to serve the people of Bedford South as their MLA.”

Braedon has built his campaign on the power of positive politics and an open, honest approach to engaging voters and community. Braedon has volunteered with the CPA boys’ basketball team and has served on the board of the Halifax West Liberal Association. Braedon currently works as a communications consultant, helping his clients better tell their stories and make a positive impact in Nova Scotia.

“I am so pleased that Braedon has come forward to serve the community of Bedford South,” says Rankin. “His fresh perspective is a valued asset to our team and I look forward to working with him in the next election.
