Liberal Candidate for Hammonds Plains-Lucasville

First elected in 2013, Ben is proud to call Hammonds Plains-Lucasville his hometown and has passionately served the community as MLA.

Deeply rooted for more than 30 years as a resident, student, athlete, coach, church member, and volunteer, Ben is well connected with extended family members residing in subdivisions throughout the area. He has a firm understanding of the important issues to families and organizations in the community, and can effectively advocate for the needs and interests to the provincial government. He has demonstrated this for the past eight years and is committed to working hard to do so, moving forward.

Ben has shown his commitment and willingness to represent Hammonds Plains-Lucasville by actively engaging with friends and neighbours through the local Ratepayers Associations, Parent-Teacher Associations, Student Advisory Councils, church congregations, athletic and recreation organizations, and a variety of other community groups and individuals with a community-minded focus

Over the last eight years, Ben has served in a variety of Legislative positions including committee member, Health and Human Resources Committee Chair, Government Whip and was recently appointed to Cabinet as Minister of the Public Service Commission.

Every Day: You can vote every day at 2283 Hammonds Plains Road – Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm

Advance Poll: You can vote early at Advance Polls from August 7 to 14

Mail: You can apply for a write-in ballot, visit electionsnovascotia.ca/WriteinBallot

Election Day: Vote on Election Day, Tuesday, August 17

Nova Scotia Tax Credits

Nova Scotia residents can donate up to $5,000 per year to each political party. Your first $1,000 is eligible for a generous 75% tax credit (That means the first $1,000 donated only costs you $250.)
