Liberal Candidate for Sackville-Uniacke

Donalda MacIsaac is a passionate volunteer and advocate for healthcare and social change that impacts people’s lives. Donalda serves on a variety of organizations including the Health Advocacy Committee of the Nova Scotia chapter of the Canadian Association of Retired Persons (CARP), the CSA Blood Quality Control Committee, the Central Zone Continuing Care Quality Committee and previously served two terms on the Cobequid Community Health Board where she served as Co-Chair for four years. Donalda is a co-founder of the QEII Diversity in Healthcare bursary which has grown to fund the education of over 100 students from underrepresented and marginalized communities.

In addition to her healthcare advocacy, Donalda is a strong voice for her community. She currently sits on the board of the Cobequid Radio Society where she volunteers as the Office Manager for CIOE Community Radio as well as sitting on the board of the Cobequid Cultural Society and serving as Vice President of the Black Beauty Culture Association. Donalda has also been a lifelong advocate for affordable and social housing, both as a member of the North West Planning Committee and in her past involvement in the planning and development in the Jim Macdonald Housing Co-op.

Every Day: You can vote every day at Faith Baptist Church, 299 Stokil Drive – Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm

Advance Poll: You can vote early at Advance Polls from August 7 to 14

Mail: You can apply for a write-in ballot, visit

Nova Scotia Tax Credits

Nova Scotia residents can donate up to $5,000 per year to each political party. Your first $1,000 is eligible for a generous 75% tax credit (That means the first $1,000 donated only costs you $250.)
