Doyle SafireCandidate for Eastern Shore
For more than 30 years, Doyle and his wife have called the Eastern Shore home, raising their family in their vibrant community.
Like many Nova Scotians, Doyle attended Saint Mary’s University where he earned a degree in psychology. During his university years, Doyle showcased his strong work ethic by becoming the youngest assistant manager at Scotiabank’s Data Centre.
Using his education and his passion for making a difference in the lives of others, Doyle joined the federal public service where he has dedicated 32 years of service. As a frontline parole officer and a policy analyst with Corrections Canada, Doyle supported individuals who were involved in the criminal justice system.
For the past 16 years, Doyle has been with Veterans Affairs Canada, managing service delivery teams providing services to Veterans and their families; and has been part of numerous projects in the areas of policy and program management.
His professional experience has equipped Doyle with a profound understanding of government mechanics. Now, he is eager to leverage his expertise to create solutions that will enhance the lives of his fellow Nova Scotians.
Doyle is deeply appreciative of the Eastern Shore’s strong sense of community, a value woven into the fabric of the region’s identity. Driven by his dedication to community engagement, Doyle has been involved in organizations such as the Eastern Shore Mariners Skippers, the Rope Skip Association of Nova Scotia, Rope Skipping Canada, and the Lawrencetown Beach Community Association. Currently, he serves as the President of his local Eastern Shore Liberal Riding Association.
Doyle’s motivation is deeply linked to his love of family, driving him to be a passionate advocate as the Liberal candidate for the Eastern Shore.
