Lorelei Nicoll

Liberal Candidate for Cole Harbour-Dartmouth

Lorelei Nicoll puts community first. She served 12 years as HRM Councillor and served as only the second female Deputy Mayor in HRM. In these positions, she chaired numerous Council Standing Committees with a focus on the environment and the economy, and served on the boards of the Halifax Partnership, Trade Centre Limited, and Destination Halifax. She participated in HRM’s Regional Plan Review, the Cole Harbour Basin Open Spaces Plan, and founded HRM’s Women’s Advisory Committee.

Since moving to the area 36 years ago, she served as Chair of School Advisory Councils, sat on the volunteer boards of the Cole Harbour Outdoor Pool and Tennis Complex and Cole Harbour Place, and is a member of the Cole Harbour Rural Heritage Society and Cole Harbour Parks and Trails.

Lorelei has the passion, ability, and experience to ensure our community has a strong voice as our province enters this unprecedented recovery phase.
