Rhonda MacLellan

Liberal Candidate for Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley

Colchester Musquodoboit Valley has never had a Liberal MLA or a female MLA – it’s time! And I feel it is the right time and I am ready to serve you.
I am a passionate advocate, hard worker, with an abundance of energy to be your MLA for Colchester-Musquodoboit Valley.

I have run businesses, have vast political experience, and served on many Boards. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce, working to complete my MBA, and a Theology diploma. I am an artist and musician – running a small business selling artwork of Nova Scotia vistas, and also performing and teaching music.

Our Plan for Recovery and Growth

Nova Scotia is ready to take the next step. We have an opportunity, right now, and an obligation to leave a better legacy for our children – by increasing equity, protecting the environment and building a better tomorrow.

The Issues

1. Internet Access:

Internet access is a human right. Yet, there are people in this riding that are without Internet access. Premier Rankin and Nova Scotia Liberals strongly support Internet access for all Nova Scotians. I will work hard to get this here, for Internet access is necessary to succeed in today’s economy.

2. Insurances Against Cancers for Firefighters:

Firefighters in Nova Scotia do not receive the same insurance coverages for various cancers as compared to other jurisdictions. As MLA I will work hard to get this coverage. As First responders safeguarding our communities, Firefighters deserve to have insurance for personal financial security.

3. Hard work and advocacy:

As I phone the voters within our beloved Colchester Musquodoboit Valley, I hear about many different concerns that no one seems to be advocating for. I want to serve in the responsible manner of being an active MLA. Hear the issues, research them, advocate when appropriate, and work hard to bring the help that many need.
