31 Mar First Four Candidate Nomination Meetings Called
The Nova Scotia Liberal Party is pleased to announce that we’re calling our first four Liberal Candidate Nomination Meetings for the following Electoral District Associations:
- Bedford South
- Kings West
- Pictou Centre
Speeches from candidates will be held virtually on the weekend of April 18. The online voting period will take place from April 21-22, with results being announced the evening of April 22.
We’re thrilled to launch this first round of our local Nomination Meetings. This exciting process will be moving swiftly as we look to nominate candidates in every one of our 55 electoral districts in the coming weeks.
Anyone who is considering running in any electoral district needs to submit their Candidate Nomination Package (click here) to the Party office as soon as possible. If you know someone who is considering running (“If not you, then who?”), please encourage them to complete their package and send it in. We’ve had fantastic candidates from across the province who are inspired to join Team Rankin. So if you’re looking to create a better future for Nova Scotia, please consider putting your name forward today.
Since the election of our new Leader, Iain Rankin, we’ve been hearing from Liberals across the province excited to start this next chapter. We look forward to engaging all Nova Scotians as we embark on this journey, together.
