Marni Tuttle elected as Liberal candidate for Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank

(Halifax, NS) – Marni Tuttle has been elected as the candidate for Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank and will represent the Nova Scotia Liberal Party in the next provincial election. Due to COVID-19, the nomination process was conducted virtually.

Marni has lived in the riding of Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank for over 40 years. She is a dedicated volunteer who has donated her time and expertise as President of the LWF Ratepayers and as Chair of the Windsor Junction Community Centre. As a dedicated mother of four, Marni has also been a passionate leader in the sports community, serving as the Director of Communications for LWF Baseball, Vice-Chair of Sackville Skating Club, and Director of Marketing & PR for Skate Canada Nova Scotia.

“I am proud to be representing my home, Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank, as the Liberal candidate in our next provincial election,” says Tuttle. “I am committed to making our community better by protecting our environment, helping seniors, supporting local entrepreneurs, and providing youth with more opportunities. I look forward to doing that and much more as the MLA.”

Marni has led a successful career in the consulting and non-profit field. She has worked with several organizations over the years, including Dalhousie University, Northwoodcare Group, Nova Scotia Nature Trust, and Nova Scotia SPCA. Marni’s community-led values have led to her involvement in several non-profit and volunteer organizations. 

“Marni has all the necessary qualities to be an effective MLA,” says Premier Iain Rankin. “I know each person in Waverley-Fall River-Beaver Bank will be well-served by her determination and passion for her community.”
