Adopt New Business Technologies

  • Investing $3.5 million over three years to enable NSCC to engage up to 90 applied research projects.
  • Supporting NSCC to work with industry partners by supplying technical services and equipment to solve R&D challenges cost effectively.

Successful businesses of the future will have the ability to implement new technology solutions and transform the digital economy. This can be challenging to do when new technologies are not accessible, well understood or when there is significant risk or cost to pilot them.

NSCC has millions of dollars in state-of-the-art equipment and technology as well as hundreds of subject matter experts who are prepared to support Nova Scotian businesses across a variety of sectors. NSCC can work with industry partners to harness the research and innovation resources of the College for the benefit of businesses across the province.

The Liberal Government will invest $3.5 million over three years to enable NSCC to engage in up to 90 applied research projects, supplying technical services and equipment to help businesses solve R&D challenges cost effectively.
