Increasing Electric Vehicle Infrastructure

  • Growing a reliable network of charging stations and electrical vehicle infrastructure.
  • Investing $10 million over four years to make electric charging stations more readily available.

Nova Scotians are increasingly adopting electric powered vehicles (EVs) that require a robust and reliable network of charging stations. Our government has a plan to dramatically grow EV infrastructure, taking it far beyond the current charging stations in operation.

A re-elected Liberal government will invest $10 million over 4 years to make electric charging stations more readily available for our growing population of EV drivers. We will develop a framework for deploying charging stations across the province that maximizes infrastructure investments and further promotes the use of EVs.
