Modernizing the NSCC Tuition Model — $18 million

Investing $18 million to implement a new tuition structure that makes part-time and flexible studies more affordable and accessible.

The current NSCC tuition model targets full-time students. Part-time students end up paying more, which creates a barrier to those wanting to study part-time. This impacts single parents, those caring for family, or those working to support themselves.

A Rankin Government will implement a new tuition structure for the NSCC that makes part-time studies more affordable and accessible by transitioning to a course-based tuition model for all programs. This will allow the NSCC to reach more students.
