Memo – Patricia Arab Campaign, P.O. Box 723
Halifax, Nova Scotia B3J 2T3

(Halifax, NS) – Patricia Arab has been acclaimed as the candidate for Fairview-Clayton Park and will officially represent the Nova Scotia Liberal Party in the upcoming provincial election.

Patricia has represented her constituents in the Nova Scotia Legislature as the MLA since 2013. After a successful re-election campaign in 2017, she was appointed as Minister of Communications Nova Scotia and Internal Services. She currently serves as Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Internal Services.

“It’s been an honour to serve the constituency of Fairview-Clayton Park since 2013. I’m humbled by their faith in me,” said Arab. “I am excited by the direction of Premier Rankin and hope to be able to continue to help our community.”

Patricia has been a champion for many local projects that continue to benefit the community. In 2017, Patricia worked to get the $100,000 addition to Centennial Arena to allow a space for dry land training and events. She has been a strong supporter of youth and has been a champion for investments in local schools and daycares, such as a $67,000 investment in St. Joseph’s Child Centre in 2019. Patricia continues to support initiatives to make the community more accessible and recently announced $5 million in funding to make sports in Nova Scotia more inclusive alongside Premier Rankin.

“Patricia has shown her dedication to the constituents of Fairview-Clayton Park for the past eight years,” said Premier Iain Rankin. “I am thrilled to continue working with her as we embark on this new chapter in Nova Scotia.”
