Tony Ince to Re-Offer in Cole Harbour

Tony Ince will re-offer as the Liberal candidate for Cole Harbour in the next provincial election.

Tony has proudly represented his community as MLA since 2013. During his time in government, Tony held numerous cabinet portfolios including Minister of African Nova Scotian Affairs and the province’s first Minister responsible for the Office of Equity and Anti-Racism Initiatives. He is also a founding member of the Canadian Congress of Black Parliamentarians.

“Serving the community I’ve called home for so many years has been one of the greatest honours of my life,” said Ince. “From talking to constituents, I hear from people every day who are struggling with the rising cost of living and healthcare crisis right here in Cole Harbour. I know that I have the passion and drive to continue advocating for better in our community.”

Earlier this year, Tony was recognized as one of the 100 Most Influential Black Canadians for his work to improve housing, equity in health care and education, and economic development opportunities for marginalized communities.

“I’ve had the pleasure of serving alongside Tony for over a decade now and I’m so thrilled that he is putting his name forward to represent the people of Cole Harbour once again,” said Liberal Leader Zach Churchill. “Tony has a proven track record of delivering results for his community. We are lucky to have his wise leadership on our team.”
