Every Day

You can vote every day at a Returning Office, Monday to Saturday, 9am to 6pm (until 8pm on Thursday and Friday)

Advance Poll

You can vote early at Advance Polls in your community from August 7th to 14th

By Mail

You can apply to vote by mail. Once approved, your ballot and instructions will be mailed to you.

Election Day

You can also vote on Election Day, Tuesday, August 17th

In this election, electoral districts (ridings) have change, there are 55 districts. That’s four more than the last election. Learn about your electoral district and where to vote early.

Nova Scotia Tax Credits

Nova Scotia residents can donate up to $5,000 per year to each political party. Your first $1,000 is eligible for a generous 75% tax credit (That means the first $1,000 donated only costs you $250.)

Become a Member

In Nova Scotia, we have a dual membership program that grants membership status in the Nova Scotia Liberal Party as well as the Liberal Party of Canada.
